We found this place accidentally traveling to Kavala, and we were surprised with couple of dolphins swimming so close to the beach.
There were plenty of free space with no noise, deep shade, and huge trees. As we do not need electricity we found ourselves in some forgotten and isolated spot, so close to the nature, and so close to romantic city of Asprovalta.
We really enjoyed the vas emptiness and lonelines of this space. We were almost only people on the beach during day, and only people looking in the night sky.
However, toilets were filthy, stinky, dirty, ugly, almost unusable
People staying in the camp were Greeks, and there were so nice.
We highly recommend this place to people who want peaceful beach and nature like camp

The positives of this site are the spacious pitches and location for the beach plus shaded areas however the negatives are truly awful.
The toilet and shower facilities were disgusting. We have been travelling for 3 months and these were the worst by far. Filthy, smelly, bug-ridded, open drains, shower heads missing, light bulbs not working, sinks and floor covered in dead bugs, dust, dirt and grime. empty soap dispensers, taps with no heads, filthy shower bases. The showers stank amd we dreaded to think what was lurking there. The water stand-pipes at the pitches had their tap heads missing so were not useable (probably a good thing judging by the rest of the place)
Most of the electric hook-ups were broken or burnt out and we had to change several times as they packed up on us.
The site was mainly empty apart from some long-stayers so there was no atmosphere at all.
Sometimes only one WC was useable in the block and it was a race with others approaching the block to get it. We were unable to face using the shower and toilet facilities and going there in the night was a real dread. Dark, dingy, smelly and you never knew what you would find. It was a toss-up whether to look too closely to avoid any nasties or to avoid looking as it was so disgusting.
Many of the buildings had fallen into disrepair and were smashed and graffitti'd. The Supermarket was long gone. No on site facilities were left. It was decrepit and neglected. A shame as the mature pitches with nice trees and greenery were potentially very attractive. The lighting around the site was also broken.
The staff were reasonably pleasant and helpful but there was a serious lack of insight into the problems.
The sea was lovely

Camping ist gut - Ich mag es. Am Ende der Saison ist recht einfach. Wenn jemand will, um wirklich Ruhe, es wird.
